Instead of just leaving it in it’s previous sorted order but making it so I can make manual changes it changes the sorting order. So when I cancel the sort list by importance it changes it to some other way of sorting. However with this new app I can sort my list by importance but then they won’t let you reorder your items manually also. I weekly shop for a family of 6 and it takes me about 45 mins with my list in order including driving time. And then I put the list in order from my routine in the store. I always sorted on wunderlist with the importance or the star icon. The biggest frustration I have at the moment is when I’m making my grocery list. I am also a wunderlist fan trying to make the switch. It’s sad that this is not available from such a big company like Microsoft so I bailed and found another app that has all these sensible missing features I mentioned and much more that’s developed and maintained by 1 person or so.
No, the random suggestions pop up is not a good enough substitute. On top of that, the “My Day” completely resets itself daily and keeps zero history of previous tasks you set so you can at least just add them back easily and in similar order since you don’t usually complete everything you plan for a day. So because I can only set the tasks I want to do for a certain date ON THAT DAY, I either have to stay up till at least 12AM on that date to set my tasks for the day and in the order I want or I have to start doing that when I wake up and need to already have my day planned because it’s go, go, go or I could be doing other necessary things. They include being able to create/ plan/ set a to do list for a future date BEFORE THAT DAY (even being able to do this for JUST the next day would be a huge improvement).
